sendvia costs $29.00 a month at that volume: the $19 flat fee plus $10.00 of Amazon SES, billed to your own AWS account at its published $0.10 per 1,000 emails. Resend's list price for the same volume is $35.00. Mailgun publishes $90.00. Postmark has no published tier that covers 100,000 on its own, so its cheapest route is computed from its Platform plan's rate for extra emails and comes to $126.00. SendGrid prints no price against any send volume, on any plan, so it is left out of the row rather than guessed at.

| Prices verified . Each figure is the cheapest route worked out from what a provider actually publishes. Some are a quoted plan price; others are computed from a published rate for extra emails, and a note beside those says so. sendvia cost is a flat $19 plus Amazon SES at cost. | ||||||
sendvia's figure is $119.00: $19 plus 1,000 lots of 1,000 emails at $0.10 each, which is $100.00 of SES. Resend's list price at that volume is $650.00, more than five times the sendvia figure. Postmark computes to $1,206.00, again on its Platform plan. Mailgun's own page prints its rate for extra emails with a leading "from", so the $1,080.00 computed here is a floor rather than a fixed price; the real bill could be higher. The table above shows the same working for every volume between 1,000 and 5,000,000, and the slider fills in anything in between.
Resend, Postmark, Mailgun and SendGrid own the sending infrastructure, so the email itself is their cost, and their price climbs with your volume to cover it. sendvia never touches the sending account. Amazon bills the email to your own AWS account directly, at the same $0.10 per 1,000 emails it charges anyone, and sendvia adds nothing on top of that rate.
The $19 fee pays for the platform: the API and SMTP relay, the dashboard, DKIM, SPF, DMARC and BIMI monitoring, and the newsletter tools. None of that grows with send volume, so the gap between sendvia and a per-email biller widens every time your list does. At 5,000 emails a month the difference is a few dollars and not worth arguing about. Past roughly 50,000 it stops being a rounding error.
You need your own AWS account, and you create the IAM user yourself; sendvia does not set one up for you. A new SES account starts inside Amazon's sandbox, capped at 200 emails a day to verified recipients only, until Amazon grants production access, which usually takes 12 to 24 hours. None of the figures above include that wait.
Two SES charges sit outside every number on this page because they depend on what you send, not how much: attachment data costs $0.12 per GB, and a managed dedicated IP costs $15 a month per account if you choose to use one.
